What\u2019s more basic than smoked meat over a tortilla with simple vegetables? We used pork shoulder, but don\u2019t be afraid to experiment even non-meat options are great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.1.171:8080\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/earth-pork-tortillas-three-sister-salad-1.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-450\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a 4 lbs pork shoulder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For the dry rub<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dry Mustard: 1 tablespoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paprika: 2 tablespoons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Onion Powder: 1 tablespoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garlic Powder: 1 tablespoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt: 2 tablespoons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pepper: 1 tablespoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mix ingredients in bowl and rub it on the pork shoulder to cover it entirely. Wrap the shoulder and let sit in refrigerator for 24 hours. Smoke at 250 degrees or until internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees, but closer to 195 degrees so that meat pulls apart, roughly 90 minutes per pound of meat. Baste with apple cider vinegar every 30 minutes. You can absolutely do this in an oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In America corn, beans, and squash are called the \u201cThree Sisters\u201d. A number of Native American tribes\u00a0interplanted this trio because they thrive together, much like three inseparable\u00a0sisters. And a three sister salad is the perfect combo for this EARTH themed party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For the Apple Cider Vinaigrette<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Roughly 6 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/\/embedded-result\/5252\">\u00bc cup<\/a> honey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/\/embedded-result\/5264\">\u00be cup<\/a> avocado oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt and ground pepper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For the salad:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 squashes (zucchini in this instance)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 ears of corn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/\/embedded-result\/5431\">\u00bc cup<\/a> avocado oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt and pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can cooked black beans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dice tomatoes (if desired).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refrigerate and save to dress the salad. Now for the salad you\u2019ll need<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>For the vinaigrette<\/em>: In a bowl combine the vinegar, honey, and avocado oil.
